The Immutable Passion Project
Through exhibitions, presentations, and collaborative programming, TIPP explores the enduring role of individualized interests and creative identity in the lives of people living with dementia. Inspired by the artistic life of Harry Hansen, the project examines how deeply rooted interests, skills, and forms of self-expression can remain present even through significant cognitive decline. This outreach aims to inspire and encourage families and caregivers to cultivate approaches to care that honor personal interests as essential to sustaining identity and personhood.
